3rd Line Infrastructure & Network Engineer required by established national and highly reputable organisation to be based at their offices in central Bradford.
This position is to act as the technical lead for the support, development and improvement of the company wide infrastructure. The suitable candidate will have solid infrastructure and server experience within a large scale Microsoft environment along with a strong networking background (ideally certified to a minimum CCNA level and possessing an MCSE or its equivalent).
Essential technical skills include:-
In depth knowledge of 1 of the 3 core infrastructure disciplines and an understanding of the other core principles; Microsoft OS, Cisco networking, SAN storage
Windows Server 2003 / 2008
Active Directory
Exchange
IIS
Clustering
Cisco switches & routing
Windows networking (DNS, WINS, DHCP)
Solid knowledge of the configuration, performance, availability and capacity management of an Enterprise Microsoft Windows server estate
SAN
Firewalls
Virtualisation / VMware
